The successful incumbent is responsible to formulate effective recruitment strategies and programs to recruit high-quality insurance advisers and achieve company's distribution growth objective.

On the job you will:
- Management Reporting: provides high quality management reporting to all stakeholders that supports local strategic decision-making (Canadian GAAP/IFRS and USGAAP), and meets regional reporting requirements.
- Financial planning and Analysis: oversees the preparation of credible financial projections and designs tools to leverage financial data to provide actionable insights to senior managements associated with finance transformation.
- People Development: leadership role in the recruitment, development and retention strategies for finance. Facilitates talent development and keen on strengthening employee engagement.
- Regulating reporting: oversees the completion of local and regional regulating requirements including filing with the tax and insurance authority, and audited financial statements.
- Ad Hoc Projects: leads various ad hoc financial projects

Job Requirements

We are looking for someone with:  
- Possess at least a degree in finance/ accounting or professional qualification (ACCA, CPA)
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience in finance and accounting. Candidates with
experience in banking or insurance companies will be of added advantage
- Basic knowledge in Accounting and operational systems, knowledge of the Sun Accounting System
will be of added advantage
  
Nice to Haves:   
- Knowledge of IFRS will be of added advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word is required
- Self-motivated, able to work independently, possess good inter-personal communication skill and a
dynamic team player
