Job Description

- To manage and coordinate the activities of all the staff members engaged in inventory control and inventory record accuracy
- Ensure stock availability by maintaining optimal levels of stock at all times, foresee supply and demand, taking a strategic approach to replenishing so that both overstocking and running out of stock are avoided
- Provides inventory analysis to support store operations throughout the physical and post inventory
- Handle purchases and transfer by carrying out the entire phase of product purchasing, from selecting to tracking shipment and receiving orders, to ensure that purchases arrive on time and in good condition and also take charge of internal stock transfers, moving products to other store branches
- Develops and implements procedures to ensure all inventory is accounted for and reported accordingly to company policy
- Ensures that inventory counts are completed regularly and in a timely manner
- Review daily inventory reports for possible errors and reports information to finance operation and Merchandise department
- Maintain an accurate inventory of both stock items and transactions, noting down dates of purchase and receipt, item count and detail, issues encountered, and more, consolidate this into regular reports presented to other department units such as finance
- Evaluate suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals and maintain a trust relationship
- Report to upper management on stock levels, issues etc.…
- Arrange and store all the items in the warehouse in the proper location and ensure the warehouse always clean
- Perform assigned responsibilities, duties, and other tasks according to established practices procedures and standards in a safe and efficient manner and with minimal supervision.
- Ensures policies are followed and provides guidance and discipline
- Effectively utilize all resources to maximum potential performance to achieve company goals
- Perform other related duties as requested

Job Requirements

- Bachelor’ s or associate degree in business administration, logistic or related fields is required
- Must have at least 3 years inventory control management and supervisory experience
- Strong Microsoft Office skills include: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Database concepts
- Shows the ability to work well under pressure and very tight schedule
- Solid knowledge in inventory management related areas and should be familiar with the inventory management system.
- Excellent leadership skills, communication and interpersonal skills along with the ability to develop and maintain effective relations with the staff members by extending the necessary help and support will prove to be advantageous.
- Project management skills, investigative nature, advanced math and technical skills would beneficial
- The ability to effectively manage the subordinates, supervise them, plan, organize and control the workflow in a team environment
- Good organization and business administration skills, attention to detail, willingness to improve, learn and adapt in accordance with the modern practice methods
